Please turn your phone 90 degrees.
You may have noticed that I have written nothing about the past two days. That's because we just sat around the pool. You've probably sat around a pool and know what it's like. So there's no point in spending any more time on the subject.
It was bug out day. Why is it harder to get the same stuff into the same bag when going home? We had been given a bottle of Tequila as part of the time-share perks. We weren't really interested in the alcohol, so My Lovely Wife found a gardener and gave it to him. My Lovely Wife has a soft spot in her heart for people who work hard with their hands and probably aren't paid much. These are the people she prefers to tip. The gardener was surprised, and happy.
At the airport. My Lovely Wife asked me to watch the bags. She'd be right back. Then she returned with our 50 bucks from the time-share booth in the airport. Since we hadn't attended, she figured a refund was in order and she was right.
People were being screened for illness. There was a small questionnaire about how you were feeling, and then a small device was pointed at your neck which took your temperature. This was in response to the Swine Flu epidemic.
At Phoenix International, (Why does this airport remind me of Hong Kong International?) we made our connecting flight. The Captain had to turn around before take off. Someone got sick and drove to the lavatory right before we went to full power. This passenger was removed from the plane. The incident caused a 1 hour delay. Swine Flu, or too much booze? I never found out.
